ARTHUR LUCAN and KITTY McSHANE "Come Over"
'Come Over' was the name of the sketch they were performing,
the very first in which Arthur Lucan played an old Irish washerwoman.
Lucan later became Old Mother Riley and starred in many films.

Kitty McShane 19 May 1897 - 24 March 1964
Only signed in Arthur Lucan's writing.

The small pieces of advice included possibly indicate that the book was owned by someone hoping to have a career in the theatre.

Died early 1960's. His wife lived to a very active 93 years.
